brass instrument. This book complements any tutor book, by consolidating
areas which tutor books do not have room to cover. Of particular note, is
the way each section starts with very simple exercises, providing a large

elsewhere. The famous 'Arban Method' is hugely popular for any player above
grade 5 standard, but there is nothing comparable for beginners. Arban

all areas of technique and musicianship which any pupil will encounter up to
grade 5, and covering areas which pupils previously had to buy a multitude of
